Herbivores
The Herbivores eat the producer and the carnivores eat the herbivores and it is just an on-going process.

Bison
Description: Males can stand six feet and weigh between 1000-2000 pounds.  Females are around five feet tall and weigh between 800-1000 pounds.
Habitat: They live in plains, prairies, river valleys.
Diet: There diet is made up of mostly grasses and sedges
Predators:  People

Moose
Description: They 7.5 feet and weight over 1700 pounds. 

 

Habitat: Moose live near swamps, streams or ponds where there are lots of trees and aquatic plant.

 

Diet: They feed on aquatic plants like water lilies. They often use their antlers to dig up plants on the bottom of ponds. In the winter, they browse on woody plants like the twigs and bark of willow, balsam, birch, aspen and dogwood trees

 

Predators: People are the predators.

Golden-mantled ground squirrel
Description: They are small with two stripes.
Habitat: They live in mixed coniferous-hardwood  forests.
Diet: nuts and fruits. 
Predators  Foxes and people.
