Description: The size of a cat grizzled white above; long white hairs cover black-tipped fur below. In some areas, individuals may appear grayish or blackish.
Habitat: Deciduous forests, open woods, brushy wastelands, and farmlands

Description: A large stocky hawk. Adult gray above, white below, with narrow but conspicuous black band on its short white tail, and refocus shoulder patch.
Habitat: Coastal prairies, grasslands, and semiarid scrub.
Diet: mice and rabbits and dead animals
